25K and Relay Road Race

Run With the Wind is a 15.6mile road race that has been held annually by the Joplin Road Runners for over 30 years! Our claim to fame is that RWTW is the ONLY certifiied 25k in the State of Missouri (USATF). This is a great race for any runner looking to make it into the state record books.
Course:
Course Changes Direction to run WITH the wind! RWTW is a point to point course through the country roads of Southwest Missouri. Because Missouri weather is so unpredictable, we decided to bring extra comfort to our runners on those chilly February days by running the course WITH the wind!

High School. All prerace events will take place at Sarcoxie High School.
- 6 Hydration stations
- Indoor Facilities at Start and Finish
Relay: Can't run 25K ?! No problem! RWTW can be ran as a three person relay
team. Joining the relay team is a great way to participate in a longer race without having to
run the whole distance. Each member will run roughly 1/3 of the course or 5.2 miles. Relay
teams must provide one vehicle to transport relay members to the exchanges.
Race Day Information:
Race Day registration will be at Sarcoxie High School at from 7-8:45am
Transportation:
There will be transportation available from end points. May runners in the past have chosen to
carpool, leaving one car at start and one at finish. This practice is still encouraged.
Post Race food and drinks will be provided.
Awards:
- Finisher's Medals for all 25K finishers
- Top Overall Male and Female
- Top 3 in 10yr age categories
- Top 3 Relay Teams
- Beat the course record and win $100
